If Malibu is out of your price range you may want to consider moving to Santa Monica, which is just 15 miles south of Malibu. As well, if you want to live close to Malibu and don’t mind heading inland, Calabasas lies 20 miles northeast of the celebrity city. This is a town that features larger homes in gated communities.
Southern California Desert Region
Approximately 100 miles away from Los Angeles you’ll run into the desert where you can enjoy sunshine about 350 days of the year. This is the home of golf courses with 115 courses just in this part of California. Palm Springs is the most notable city in the desert region and it is also home to a number of celebrities.
